FLOOR CONSTRUCTION

The floor structure is spruce-based, which makes for high resistance to year-round room humidity and temperature fluctuations. In total, the floorboards are 14/ 13.3 mm thick, of which 3.5/ 2.7 mm constitute a renovatable layer that can be renovated up to 3/ 2 times. The boards are covered with 7 coatings of varnish or 2 coatings of oil. They feature click systems, and are suitable to be installed over underfloor heating.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1.

Natural wood flooring lends warmth and an original character to every interior. It is a decorative investment that can offer many years of service, if due care and maintenance are provided.

2.

It is recommended to vacuum the floor twice a week, and if you have a pet, even more frequently. For that purpose, choose a soft-bristle vacuum attachment dedicated to wooden floors.
To keep your floor free from scratches, remember to clean up regularly. Fit chair, table and furniture legs with felt pads. Dust the felt pads regularly, as sand and dust tend to cling to felt.

3.

It is possible to clean a wooden floor with water, but bear in mind that an excess of water might damage the floorboards. Wipe the floor with a well-wrung, flat, microfibre mop. Rinse it often in cold water with an addition of a care agent.

Clean & Protect

4.

If you want your natural wood floor to remain serviceable for many years, remember to regularly clean all the interiors, and not only the ones where the floors are installed. Dirt and sand can easily transfer from one room to another, and so regular and comprehensive cleaning as well as beating dust out of the entrance doormats will prevent dirt from being walked inside.
